I've just added a new page to the site, My Websites, which is a listing of many of the sites I have been involved with in my time as a web developer. There are descriptions, images and links (where applicable). I'll update it as and when there's something else worthy of being shown at all :P

Here is a quick summary of the newly updated information in the mapping section:

I'm planning on picking up the development of CTF-BeatitudeClassic again. It's one that I have a particular attachment to so it would be a waste to leave it.

Well, I do in fact have only one more term remaining at university. With any luck, I'll have a degree at the end of it too! Since the last news post, I've had a mixed bag of good and less good. Good includes meeting a bunch of amazing new people at uni (living in halls went well :D) and I've been more involved with uni clubs/societies this year. The bad includes the general stress of being a final year student, having to do a final year project (thank goodness that's over with now), and also having to actually start thinking about the real world again!

All I have left in my final term are a few lectures, a few practicals, and 5 exams. I've got 10 weeks or so till I have the exams and this holiday is a prime time to get some good work done, in theory of course. I hope to get a bit of fun work done too, that being website work, mapping, and so on. It's also my 22nd birthday in the middle of the holiday (9th April), which should be good.

Lastly, I've updated the mapping section with a couple of CarBall maps, and a couple of unfinished maps from UT. I should be adding some more in the next few days.

My time at home over the summer is almost up now. On Sunday (10th October) I'm going back to the University of York for the final year of my Computer Science degree. I'm hoping to bump up my current marks and finish on a high point.

It's an odd thing going back to university after having been away for more than a year doing the sandwich year in industry. For those that are interested, I was working at a company called QinetiQ doing all sorts really, but my main project was writing a web based bug report system for the dev team I was working with. Bearing in mind i'd never written a single line of PHP before that, I'm pleased with what I ended up with and it's helped immensely getting this site going.

Going back to uni has some potential pitfalls:

• I'm living on campus this year, and I don't know how limiting the internet connection will be yet.
• It's my final year so there's going to be more work than ever before, and it counts the most towards the final marks.

This basically means that I'm not sure how up to date this place is going to be kept. Not at all if I can't access my webadmin. I'll be a little annoyed if I can't play UT, Quake 4, etc online either. The plus side is that I'll be back at uni with most of my friends still knocking around York in one way or another.

I've updated all the maps currently up with screenshots so you can actually have a look at things instead of being forced to use your imagination.

The mapping section has been updated a little. I've added details for all my released UT and UT2003 maps. More will come sometime soon, and I'll be adding screenshots as well.
